During the placements of ads, AdKnife does not collect any personally identifiable information, i.e. names, addresses, email, social security number, credit card numbers, or anything else that can identify you.
We do collect anonymous information, such as how you respond (or not) to certain types of ads. We use several technologies in order to collect this anonymous information including the following:
Cookies: Cookies are small text snippets stored in your browser by a web site when a page is retrieved. You may disable cookies in your browser, although that is not recommended because it will break many sites on the web. AdKnife uses a cookie to link your browser to the anonymous information we collect. If you opt-out of our service by clicking the link below, AdKnife will set a cookie that tells our servers to refuse any information from your browser. Since cookies are stored on the browser, you may need to opt out again if you move to a new browser, use more than 1 computer, or erase your cookies.
Pixels Tags: Pixel tags are invisible components of a web page that allow a web server to set and read cookies. We also use pixel tags to identify where and when our ads are served, and whether you have previously shown interest in our customers' products. If you are opted out of our service below, AdKnife will not store any information sent to us through a pixel tag.
JavaScript: JavaScript is a programming language that runs in browsers and responsible for much of the interactivity on the modern web. You can turn off JavaScript in your browser, but that is not recommended as it will break many of the sites on the web. AdKnife uses JavaScript to collect lists of users to whom we would like to serve ads. If you are opted out of our service below, you are removed from these lists.
Sharing Your Information
AdKnife may share anonymous information in aggregated form only with third parties in order to perform business activities. AdKnife also reserves the right to share your personal information (1) as required by law, (2) when in good faith we believe it is necessary to protect the rights or property of AdKnife, or (3) in the event we sell or transfer all or a potion of our business or assets.
AdKnife uses other companies to build and maintain our data center. We store our data on these third party machines in order for them to provide business functions on our behalf.
Security
AdKnife has appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural security safeguards in place to protect and secure the information we collect. We understand that many individuals are concerned about security on the internet. The AdKnife Website employs industry standard methods of protecting the security of information collected on the site.
Children's Privacy
AdKnife is committed to protecting the safety and privacy of children when they use the internet. AdKnife's ads are not targeted to those under 18 years of age and we do not intend to collect any personally identifiable information from children through the AdKnife Website.
If we determine that a child under 18 has provided personal information in violation of this policy, we will use reasonable efforts to delete that information as soon as practical.
